Oppo is expected to introduce the Reno 15 series in India soon, following recent teasers from the company. Until now, Oppo has officially hinted at three models, the Reno 15, Reno 15 Pro and Reno 15 Pro Mini along with a few key specifications. However, a new leak suggests that the lineup may expand further with the addition of a fourth variant, possibly called the Oppo Reno 15C.

Notably, Oppo recently launched a phone with the same name in China, though the brand has not confirmed whether the device will make its way to India as part of the Reno 15 family.

Oppo Reno 15C Tipped for India Launch

According to a post shared by tipster Abhishek Yadav (@yabhishekhd) on X, the Oppo Reno 15C could debut in India alongside the existing Reno 15 models. The tipster also claimed that the handset may be priced below Rs. 40,000 and revealed some of its expected specifications.

As per the leak, the India-bound Reno 15C could feature a 6.57-inch full-HD LTPS OLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and up to 1,400 nits of high brightness mode (HBM). It is said to be powered by a Snapdragon 6 Gen 1 chipset, coupled with up to 12GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage.

In terms of cameras, the smartphone is tipped to come with a triple rear setup, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor, an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens and a 2-megapixel macro camera. On the front, it may house a 50-megapixel ultra-wide camera for selfies and video calls.

The leaked details also suggest that the Reno 15C could pack a large 7,000mAh battery with support for 80W fast charging. The phone is said to measure 8.14mm in thickness and weigh between 189g and 195g.

How It Differs From the China Model

Interestingly, these specifications differ significantly from the Oppo Reno 15C launched in China earlier this month. The Chinese version features a 6.59-inch full-HD AMOLED display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of 1,200 nits. It is powered by a Snapdragon 7 Gen 4 processor, paired with up to 12GB RAM and 512GB storage.

On the imaging front, the China variant offers a more advanced triple rear camera system, including a 50-megapixel primary sensor with OIS, a 50-megapixel telephoto camera with OIS and an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. It also has a 50-megapixel front camera and is backed by a 6,500mAh battery with 80W wired fast charging support.

Given the noticeable differences between the leaked India specifications and the China model, the credibility of the rumoured details remains uncertain. Until Oppo makes an official announcement, the existence of a fourth Reno 15 variant in India should be treated with caution.
