Samsung Electronics has officially launched its Galaxy Book6 series at CES 2026, featuring the Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Galaxy Book6 Pro, and the standard Galaxy Book6 laptops.

At the core of the series are Intel Core Ultra Series 3 processors, the first client chips built on Intel’s 18A process, delivering a substantial boost to CPU, GPU, and neural processing performance?

This allows faster multitasking and more responsive AI-powered features directly on the device, reducing dependence on cloud computing. The integrated Neural Processing Units (NPUs) can handle up to 50 trillion operations per second, accelerating tasks such as image editing, translations, and more.

For users seeking extra graphics performance, the Galaxy Book6 Ultra comes with NVIDIA GeForce RTX 5070 or 5060 Laptop GPUs, ideal for content creators working on video editing, 3D graphics, and AI-assisted tools. Samsung has also revamped the cooling system, adding vapor chamber cooling in the Pro series for the first time and expanding thermal components in the Ultra model, ensuring performance stays consistent under heavy workloads while keeping fan noise low.

Battery life is impressive, with the Ultra and Pro models offering up to 30 hours of video playback and fast charging that restores over half the battery in roughly 30 minutes. The laptops feature Dynamic AMOLED 2X displays with peak HDR brightness of 1,000 nits, adaptive refresh rates up to 120Hz, anti-reflective coatings, Vision Booster technology for dynamic color adjustment, and durable Gorilla Glass DXC treatment.

Audio on the Galaxy Book6 Ultra is enhanced by a six-speaker system with Dolby Atmos and force-cancelling woofers, delivering immersive sound for both media and calls.

Samsung has integrated AI features into Windows 11, including AI-assisted search, note summarization, background removal in images, and seamless content sharing between Galaxy devices. The series also allows deeper integration with Galaxy smartphones and tablets, enabling smooth workflows across devices.

Despite the enhanced performance, Samsung has reduced the thickness of the laptops. The Galaxy Book6 Ultra measures 15.4mm, while the 16-inch Pro model is just 11.9mm, thanks to a redesign of internal components and cooling systems.

The Galaxy Book6 Ultra, Pro, and standard models will be available in select regions starting late January 2026, in grey and silver color options. A Galaxy Book6 Enterprise Edition with enterprise-focused features will roll out in some countries in April 2026.
