Xiaomi’s next-generation flagship lineup has surfaced in fresh leaks, suggesting that the Xiaomi 18 series is already moving through early certification stages ahead of its anticipated launch next year. The range is expected to include multiple models, including the Xiaomi 18, 18 Pro, 18 Pro Max, and 18 Ultra, though Xiaomi has not confirmed the final lineup.
A recent GSMA database entry reportedly lists a new device under the codename “madrid”, along with several model numbers believed to correspond to different regional variants, including China, India, global, and Japan. This indicates that Xiaomi is preparing the series for wider international rollout following its traditional domestic-first launch strategy.
However, the exact identity of the “madrid” device remains unclear. While it is being linked to the Xiaomi 18 family, it is not yet confirmed whether it represents the standard model or a Pro variant. Some reports also suggest Xiaomi may be reconsidering its “Ultra” branding this generation, which could reshape the overall lineup structure.
The model numbering pattern, particularly the “2611” prefix, has also sparked speculation about a possible November 2026 launch window, potentially later than earlier expectations of a September debut.
On the hardware front, the Xiaomi 18 series is tipped to feature Qualcomm’s upcoming Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 6 chipset, paired with LPDDR6 RAM. The devices are also expected to continue Xiaomi’s focus on compact flagship designs, with display sizes likely in the 6.3–6.4-inch range offering 2K resolution.

While Xiaomi has not officially commented on the series, more details are expected to emerge as the launch timeline approaches.
