Aluminium prices on Monday rose by Rs 2.25 to Rs 350.80 per kilogram in futures trade as speculators built up fresh positions amid a positive trend in the spot market.
On the Multi Commodity Exchange, the price of aluminium for delivery in August edged up by Rs 2.25, or 0.65 per cent, to Rs 350.80 per kg in 372 lots.

Analysts said fresh positions created by traders amid demand from consuming industries supported aluminium prices in the futures market.
