India has issued a fresh advisory to the Indians stranded in Ukraine for getting out of the war-affected country after reports about Ukraine’s border guards not allowing Indians and others to cross into Poland.
 
This has come after a video posted by the students at a border point surfaced on social media in which students are requesting the Indian embassy for help.
 
The following advisory has been issued:
 
At one point the students say they have been stranded for three days in minus temperature without food.
The Ukrainian border guards stopped them from moving into Poland and even fired in the air.
 
BBC reported an incident in which Ukrainian guards were seen hitting the African and Indians.
 
The Indian embassy has announced the shifting of the place of assembly to cross the border through the following advisory.
 
At the meeting led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on the Ukraine situation, it was decided that evacuation of the Indian students should get the highest priority.
