Chhattisgarh Chief Minister Vishnu Deo Sai on Tuesday congratulated Prime Minister Narendra Modi on completing 12 years in office, saying the country is steadily moving towards the goal of becoming a developed nation by 2047 under his leadership.
In a post on X, Sai extended greetings to Modi for completing 12 years devoted to public service, good governance and welfare of the poor as the “Pradhan Sevak”.
“Under the visionary leadership of the Prime Minister, India has entered a new phase of confidence, security and development,” the chief minister said.
He noted that the country was continuously advancing towards the vision of ‘Viksit Bharat 2047’ guided by the principle of “Sabka Saath, Sabka Vikas, Sabka Vishwas aur Sabka Prayas”.
“On behalf of the people of Chhattisgarh, I once again express my congratulations and gratitude to the Prime Minister,” Sai added.
The chief minister said the last 12 years witnessed several historic initiatives aimed at ensuring that the benefits of welfare schemes reached the most deprived sections of society, with a strong focus on service, good governance and inclusive growth.
Highlighting developments in Chhattisgarh, Sai said regions such as Bastar and other forested areas, once severely affected by Naxal violence, are now experiencing a transformation marked by development, public trust and welfare initiatives.
“Road connectivity, education, healthcare, mobile networks, banking services and welfare schemes have now reached remote tribal regions and across the state,” he said.
Sai added that flagship schemes including Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Ayushman Bharat, Ujjwala Yojana, Har Ghar Jal, Jan-Dhan Yojana and Digital India have positively impacted the lives of the poor, farmers, women, youth and tribal communities.
