Union Environment Minister Bhupender Yadav on Wednesday paid tribute to the architects of the Constitution and reminded citizens of its commitment to ensuring justice, equality and freedom for every individual.
Sharing a message on X, Yadav said the nation owes “millions of salutes” to everyone who contributed to shaping a strong and vibrant democracy. He added that the Constitution guarantees political, economic and social justice while safeguarding every person’s freedom of belief and religion.

Minister of State for Environment Kirti Vardhan Singh also posted a message on X, saying Constitution Day is an occasion to honour the visionaries behind India’s democratic framework and to reaffirm the responsibility of upholding its ideals with unity and integrity.
At Indira Paryavaran Bhawan, the Environment Ministry observed the day with a collective reading of the Preamble led by Environment Secretary Tanmay Kumar. Kumar also planted a sapling under the “Ek Ped Maa Ke Naam” campaign, highlighting the constitutional duty of protecting the environment.

Across the country, organisations and offices under the ministry marked the 75th Constitution Day through activities such as Preamble readings, workshops, webinars and online quizzes.
