Manoj Sinha on Saturday joined an anti-drug rally at the district headquarters of Samba as part of the 100-day intensive Nasha Mukt Abhiyan, saying the youth hold the key to eliminating the drug menace.
A large number of people from different sections of society participated in the gathering and pledged support for creating a drug-free society.
Addressing the crowd, Sinha said the 100-day movement would inspire future generations and demonstrate that people united in purpose can bring historic change.
He also told young people that the solution to the serious problem of drug abuse lies in their hands. According to him, their dreams are powerful, their potential limitless, and society must support them in achieving those aspirations. He urged them to remain committed to the right path with determination.
Earlier this month, on April 11, Sinha had launched the campaign with a padyatra from M A Stadium to Parade Ground in Jammu. Since then, he has led rallies in several districts as part of the drive.
