Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath on Monday praised the performance of the BJP-led NDA in the assembly elections, saying the results reflect the public’s strong confidence in Prime Minister Narendra Modi and his welfare-driven governance model.
According to Election Commission trends, the BJP was leading in West Bengal with 194 seats against the ruling TMC’s 91, while also showing strong performance in Assam and Puducherry.
In a post on X, Adityanath described the outcome as a “historic mandate” that would further strengthen the vision of a developed India.
He said the people of the country had “unwavering faith” in the Prime Minister’s leadership and pro-public policies, which was evident in the election results across multiple states.
Adityanath added that the NDA forming government in West Bengal for the first time, returning to power in Assam for a third consecutive term, and securing another term in Puducherry demonstrated strong public trust.
He said the mandate would give new momentum to the vision of a “New India – Developed India” under the Prime Minister’s leadership.
The Chief Minister also congratulated BJP leaders, workers, and successful candidates, while thanking voters for their support.
