Sikkim Chief Minister Prem Singh Tamang on Monday submitted his enumeration form as part of the ongoing Special Intensive Revision (SIR) exercise in the state.

The chief minister completed the process in his native Soreng district in the presence of election officials, including Block Level Supervisor Jas Bahadur Tamang and Booth Level Officers Semi Hang Limboo and Deepson Tamang.

Sharing the update on social media, Tamang said:

“Today, I successfully submitted my SIR form in the presence of Jas Bahadur Tamang, Block Level Supervisor, and Semi Hang Limboo and Mr Deepson Tamang, Booth Level Officers of Soreng district.”

The chief minister also appealed to all eligible citizens to participate in the exercise and submit their forms within the prescribed deadline.

“Participating in this process helps ensure that our records remain accurate and strengthens our democratic system,” he said.

The SIR exercise is aimed at updating and verifying electoral records to maintain the accuracy of voter rolls and ensure smooth electoral administration. State authorities have been encouraging citizens to cooperate with officials and complete the required formalities within the stipulated timeline.
