Tripura Police has entered into a memorandum of understanding with Rashtriya Raksha University to enhance collaboration in advanced training and research, officials said on Wednesday.

The agreement was signed virtually on Tuesday by Director General of Police Anurag and the university’s Pro Vice Chancellor Kalpesh H. Wandra.

As part of the arrangement, the university will offer academic accreditation for selected training programmes conducted by the police force. It will also certify courses that are jointly approved by both institutions over time.

A joint committee, comprising representatives from both sides, will supervise the accreditation process and ensure smooth implementation of the agreement.
