Bidar
C. P. Radhakrishnan on Wednesday took an indirect dig at Mallikarjun Kharge over his recent remarks on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, saying the Congress leader “fails to distinguish between terror and those who fight it.”
He made the comment while addressing the Amrit Mahotsava celebrations marking the 75th birth anniversary of Dr Basavalinga Pattadevaru Mahaswamiji at Sri Channabasavashram in Bidar.
Kharge, Thaawarchand Gehlot and minister Eshwar Khandre were also present at the event.
Radhakrishnan said he only had a “difference in vision” with Kharge, adding that sometimes he felt the Congress leader could not distinguish between black and white, or between a terrorist and those who confront terrorism. He also described Kharge as a good friend.
The remarks came a day after Kharge accused Modi of “terrorising” political parties through alleged misuse of government agencies and state machinery.
During a press conference in Chennai, Kharge had initially referred to the prime minister as a “terrorist” while criticising the AIADMK for allying with the Bharatiya Janata Party.

Later, when asked for clarification, Kharge said he meant Modi was “terrorising” the democratic fabric of the country, not calling him a terrorist in the literal sense.
