Actor-filmmaker Vishal has completed shooting for his upcoming Tamil action drama Magudam, which marks his directorial debut.
The actor announced the wrap-up through a post on Instagram, sharing a video in which he transitions between different characters before confirming that filming had concluded and post-production work had begun.
"It is a wrap!! Simultaneously, post-production underway! Magudam/Makutam worldwide in theatres in July," Vishal wrote in the caption.
The film, also referred to as Makutam in Telugu, is Vishal’s 35th project as an actor and features him in three distinct roles. Produced under Super Good Films, the movie is set against the backdrop of a coastal community.
The cast includes Anjali, Yogi Babu, John Vijay, and Vijayan in key roles.
Music for the film has been composed by G. V. Prakash Kumar.
Magudam is scheduled for a theatrical release in July 2026 in both Tamil and Telugu languages.
Apart from Magudam, Vishal is also working on Purushan, directed by Sundar C, which co-stars Tamannaah Bhatia.

Known for films such as Mark Antony, Thimiru, and Avan Ivan, Vishal is now set to take on the dual role of actor and director with Magudam.
