Bihar Police have arrested a woman for her alleged involvement in an interstate narcotics trafficking network and seized 156 grams of heroin from her possession in Begusarai district, officials said on Saturday.
The arrest was made during a raid conducted in the Phulwaria police station area, they said.
According to a police statement, the seized contraband includes 156 grams of heroin with an estimated international market value of ₹31.12 lakh, along with a mobile phone believed to have been used in coordinating the illegal trade.
Officials said the woman had been actively engaged in narcotics trafficking for a significant period and was linked to a wider interstate smuggling network operating across Bihar, Assam, Manipur and other states.

Further raids are underway to trace and apprehend other members of the drug syndicate, the statement added.
