Filmmaker and choreographer Ahmed Khan recently welcomed director Farah Khan into his Mumbai residence, offering viewers a rare look inside a home that combines luxury interiors, fine art and an impressive collection of automobiles. The house tour, featured on Farah Khan's YouTube channel, also included her cook Dilip, adding a light-hearted touch to the visit.

From the moment guests step inside, the home makes a striking first impression. The entrance features earthy tones, a grand bottle-green door with gold accents and lush greenery, while a large chandelier leads into an expansive living room designed with premium finishes.

The living area is dominated by rich green seating, elegant glass tables and décor inspired by the Italian luxury fashion house Versace. From wallpapers and carpets to lamps, cushions and furniture, the space reflects a consistent design theme. During the tour, Farah Khan playfully remarked on the home's extensive use of the iconic brand's signature motifs, prompting laughter from Ahmed and his wife, Shaira Khan.

Adding an artistic touch to the interiors are horse-themed paintings by celebrated Indian artist MF Husain. Ahmed revealed that the artworks were gifted to him by his wife. Speaking about his admiration for horses, he shared that his family's association with horse breeding and training goes back several generations, making the paintings especially meaningful.

The living room opens onto a spacious balcony overlooking Mumbai's skyline, while the adjoining dining area continues the luxurious aesthetic with a black-and-gold colour palette and a white dining table accented with gold detailing.

The tour also featured Shaira Khan's walk-in wardrobe, where designer handbags, shoes and clothing are neatly displayed across custom-built shelves. Large mirrors and black-and-gold interiors further enhance the elegant look of the space.

One of the biggest attractions of the house is Ahmed Khan's automobile collection. Among the standout vehicles is a replica of the iconic Batmobile from the 1989 Batman film. While the original movie car is valued at several crores, reports suggest Ahmed's replica is worth between ₹1.5 crore and ₹3 crore. Designed with signature fins, gills and smoke-effect burners, the customised vehicle closely resembles the legendary superhero car and serves as the highlight of his collection.
