As against clashes between two communities in northwest Delhi's Jahangirpuri on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti disrupting peace, the occasion was marked by harmony and participation of Muslims in the procession in Madhya Pradesh’s capital Bhopal.

Demonstrating the brotherhood between the two communities, members of the Muslim community shower flower petals on devotees during the Hanuman Jayanti procession in Bhopal.

A group of community people gathered to welcome the procession and showered flower petals on the participants in the procession carrying an idol of Lord Hanuman. One of the members of the group that organized the Hanuman Jayanti procession said that they want to continue the tradition of brotherhood between Hindus and Muslims in the city.

The video clip of Muslims vying with each other to show petals on the procession was shared by many people on Twitter:

“We are here to welcome the procession. The tradition of Hindu-Muslim brotherhood will continue in our city forever.” Recently, on the occasion of Ram Navami in Siliguri, some Muslim youths set an example of communal harmony and distributed water bottles and hugged the people participating in the procession.

Muslim youths congratulated the people who participated in the procession on Ram Navami. The people involved in the procession welcomed the distribution of bottles and expressed their gratitude to the Muslim youths.
