Six Muslim youth of village Tuksan Dhok, Mahore area of Reasi in Jammu who overpowered two dreaded and most wanted terrorists have received a pat from Jammu and Kashmir Police Chief Dilbagh Singh for their bravery.

The young persons who live in a hilly and remote area, about 140 km from the capital Jammu, had overpowered the terrorists Talib Hussain and Faisal Dar of the Pakistan-based Lashkar-e-toiba in the wee hours of Sunday.

The terrorists who were on the run from the frontier district o Rajouri were in contact with their handlers from Pakistan.

The terrorists who were on the run from the frontier district o Rajouri were in contact with their handlers from Pakistan.

In the wee hours of Sunday, two of them had knocked at the house of a local in the village and asked the owner to prepare food for them.

The house owner realized they were terrorists and ushered them inside.

He soon called his brother and other locals and all of them smartly worked out a plan to apprehend the duo

DGP Dilbagh Singh and ADGP Jammu Mukesh Singh reached the spot to review the situation and appreciate the bravery of the villagers.

It’s for the first time that the local youth have daringly taken on terrorists and smartly immobilized them by tying their hands with a rope and snatching away their weapons before calling the police.
