"Be happy, son, be happy. This is Sachin, and this is Sahab. Both of them have saved the lives of my family. I am grateful to them from the bottom of my heart."

This is what a well-known coaching teacher of Delhi, Neetu Singh, popularly known as Neetu Mem 'K', said in a social media post in which he introduces two of her students - Sachin and Sahib - who saved her family from a fire.

Her post has two videos in which she seen sitting in her office with Sachin and Sahib, anmd asking them questions about the rescue of her entire family, including her elderly mother, from a multi-story apartment as it was on fire.

In the post, she writes that her students, Sachin and Sahib, also saved her son, mother and sister by extricating them from the third and fourth floors, where they were trapped in the fire in total disregard for their own safety.

Neetu Ma'am is asking Sachin and Sahib, "And also tell me who brought my mother down in his lap. Because my mother was in extreme panic and distress, and her feet were frozen, you carried her down in your lap from the third floor. The smoke was so thick that I couldn't even see clearly."

To this, Sachin says it was Sahib who carried her mother from the apartment in his arms.

Neetu Meem further asks," Who called me saying that, Ma'am? Just calm down, we are not here, we will not let you fall. I had never stepped on that ladder in my life. There was also broken glass that I had to cross. Also, I had to balance myself by placing my feet on a very small balcony and then coming down from that ladder. He held me tightly and said, 'Just come down; I will not let you fall.'

She is referring to a bamboo ladder that Saching and Sahib used from outside to read her third floor to extricate their teacher and other members of her family.

"It's only because of their assurance that I came down from the fourth-floor balcony of my flat."

It was Sachin who convinced Neetu Ma'am to step on the ladder and start descending.

"For me, they are like God. It is often said that no one knows in what form God comes to help. For me, God came in the form of my students, and they saved me. I think that perhaps I have been rewarded for the good work I did in helping students and bringing tears of joy to the eyes of their parents."

In the video, she says, "The house will be rebuilt, but you guys rescued my mother and my sister; that's the most important thing. Thank you very much for that.

Addressing the two in her office, she says that she understands that Sahib could act bravely because he is a wrestler, but wonders how Sachin acted in the same way.

"How did you climb to the top?" she asks Sachin.

Sachin says he was grateful to Colonel Raji Sir. Sir, your teachings have taken me this far. It is because of your training that I was able to act with courage even in this difficult time and rise to the top. I am especially very grateful to you."

At this stage, Neetu Mea'am introduced Colonel Raji Behrwan, a veteran soldier who has a good presence on social media, and says, "I also want to express my special gratitude to you because the student who saved my life is your student. He learned from you how to save lives and how to stand firm in difficult situations. Thank you very much, Sir."

The story of Sunday night as told by Neetu Ma'am in the videos:

"On Sunday, around 9 pm, a big fire suddenly broke out in my house. At that time, I was taking a class on the fourth floor, and my son was in his room on the second floor. When he returned from the bathroom, thick black smoke was spreading everywhere in his room. The fire started from that place, and soon it engulfed the second and third floors, and its smoke reached the fourth floor. When I realised it, I screamed, and I just kept calling my son's name.

"I came to the balcony and shouted to call the fire brigade. In this difficult time, my students risked their lives and reached the second and third floors to save me. I am deeply grateful to all of them. I am also very grateful to all my neighbours because that day, everyone's doors were open for me, and everyone sincerely invited me to come to them.

"I would especially like to thank those who carried my elderly mother and sister in their arms and brought them safely out of the third floor. A student took me down from the fourth floor using a ladder and kept encouraging me, "Ma'am, just come here, we won't let you fall." I had never climbed a single floor on such a ladder in my life, but I got down from the fourth floor using this one.

"My son was also hanging from the grill on the second floor, and then came down through the pipe. After the first floor, when he jumped down, a student caught him and got injured himself. I am also deeply grateful to him.

"I want to tell you all from the bottom of my heart that my students and my neighbours helped me a lot. If I can ever be of any use to you, I will consider myself lucky. Our house has been badly damaged, and half of it has burned down, but I am grateful that my son came out alive from the room that was completely burnt to ashes. My mother and sister were also taken to safety by the children.

"I can honestly say that today my entire family is safe only because of all of you. Many people are asking what happened and how it happened, so I want to tell you through this video that the incident was very bad, but one good thing about it is that my entire family and I are safe. When life is safe, everything can be regained. I am extremely grateful to all of you. Thank you very much. If you ever need me, you will definitely remember me."
