Copper futures rise on firm spot demand

New Delhi

Copper futures rose by Rs 4.30 to Rs 1,381.25 per kg on Tuesday due to higher spot demand.

On the Multi Commodity Exchange, copper contracts for August delivery rose by Rs 4.30, or 0.31 per cent, to Rs 1,381.25 per kilogram in a business turnover of 1,380 lots.

Analysts attributed the rise in copper prices to higher bets by participants.
