Nani’s much-awaited action drama The Paradise has been pushed back, with the makers announcing August 21, 2026, as the new theatrical release date. The film was earlier scheduled to hit cinemas on March 26, 2026.
The announcement was made on Instagram along with a striking new poster. “We don’t want to rush. We need time to deliver it. #TheParadise – 21-08-2026,” the team shared, signalling their focus on refining the film before its big-screen debut.
Directed by Srikanth Odela, the film reunites the filmmaker with Nani after the success of Dasara in 2023. In The Paradise, Nani steps into the role of Dhagad. When production began on June 21, 2025, the makers unveiled a first-look image featuring the actor in character, complete with green leather shoes and a distinctive anklet.
The story revolves around a marginalised tribal community deprived of fundamental rights for generations. Their struggle intensifies as a new leader emerges to confront an entrenched system of oppression.

Kayadu Lohar stars as the female lead, while Mohan Babu, Raghav Juyal, who essays the antagonist and Sampoornesh Babu play significant roles.
The revised August release places the film in a festive corridor coinciding with Raksha Bandhan and Janmashtami, while also steering clear of a crowded March box office lineup that includes Toxic and Dhurandhar 2.
