Acclaimed actor Nawazuddin Siddiqui continues to showcase his exceptional range with the release of Raat Akeli Hai 2, which premiered on Netflix on Sunday and has opened to strong audience interest and favourable reviews from critics.

In the sequel, Siddiqui reprises his role as police officer Jatileshwar Yadav, once again bringing depth and restraint to the character. Known for his method-driven approach, the actor has built a career defined by nuanced performances across genres, seamlessly transitioning between lead, supporting and negative roles.

Over the years, Nawazuddin Siddiqui has delivered memorable portrayals, including a police officer in Raees, the determined protagonist in Manjhi: The Mountain Man, a journalist in Bajrangi Bhaijaan, and a customs officer in Costao. His recent appearance as Yakshaan in Thamma further highlighted his ability to inhabit complex and unconventional characters.

The actor has also earned critical acclaim for his negative roles in films such as Badlapur, Raman Raghav 2.0, Kick and Heropanti 2. In Haddi, he took on the challenging role of a transgender character in a lead, positive portrayal, underscoring his commitment to experimentation and authenticity.
