Motorola has officially confirmed the India launch date of its upcoming Moto G77 Power, expanding its G-series lineup in the country. The smartphone will debut on July 8 and will be sold via Flipkart, with the company hinting at a price segment below Rs 30,000.
The Lenovo-owned brand has also teased key details including design, colour options, and specifications through a dedicated landing page. The handset will be available in at least three Pantone-curated finishes, including black, blue and red, and will feature a premium vegan leather texture.
The Moto G77 Power is positioned as a battery-focused device, highlighted by its massive 7,000mAh battery, which Motorola claims can deliver up to three days of usage on a single charge. The phone sports a 6.72-inch full-HD+ display with a 120Hz refresh rate, protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. A centrally placed hole-punch cutout houses the front camera.
On the imaging front, the smartphone is equipped with a 50-megapixel Sony Lytia-600 primary sensor, paired with an 8-megapixel ultra-wide lens. For selfies and video calls, it offers a 32-megapixel front camera.
Motorola has also focused on durability and audio experience. The device carries an MIL-STD-810H certification, a 3.5mm headphone jack, and dual stereo speakers with Dolby Atmos support and Hi-Res Audio certification.
Under the hood, the Moto G77 Power runs on Android 16 with Motorola’s Hello UI, and the company has confirmed that it will receive an upgrade to Android 17 in the future.
While the brand has not disclosed full India-specific chipset details, the global variant of the Moto G77 launched earlier this year features a MediaTek Dimensity 6400 processor, along with a 5,200mAh battery and 108-megapixel primary camera. The Indian “Power” variant, however, focuses on a significantly larger battery and refined feature set aimed at heavy users.
