Bengaluru, Karnataka is histing a historic moment. The Joint Milad Committee has announced an unprecedented and grand international Milad-un-Nabi conference to mark the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad. This conference is an important event not only for India, but for Muslims all over the world.

The event to be held on Friday seeks to re-enact the message of mercy, peace and unity for humans.
 
Usman Sharif, the organizer of the Conference, said, "We have got this opportunity to celebrate the 1500th birth anniversary of Prophet Muhammad(PBUH). We respect this decision of the state government, which has been taken with a lot of thought and procedures." 
 
Bengaluru's environment is full of excitement and religious joy. Many prominent Islamic scholars, spiritual leaders and politicians from the country and abroad are expected to participate in this conference.

The main objective of the conference is to emphasize the teachings of the Prophet. The scholars would  highlight aspects of his life that were devoted to peace, mercy and the welfare of humanity.
