President Droupadi Murmu will be on a brief visit to Jaipur on January 16, where she is scheduled to take part in a religious programme, according to an official statement issued on Wednesday.

During her visit, the President will attend the 1,008-kund Hanuman Maha Yagya, organised by the Ramanand Mission, at Harmada on Sikar Road.

Murmu will arrive in the Rajasthan capital on Friday afternoon and proceed to Lok Bhavan before heading to the venue of the event. After completing her engagements, she is expected to return to New Delhi later in the evening.
