In the fast-paced modern life, humans often lose balance between their duties, behaviour, and moral values. We either become too rigid or too liberal, losing sight of our faith and its core message.
In our relationship with religion and the world, Islam ordains balance and nor leaning on either side. Islam preaches prudence, and the middle path, but maintaining this balance can sometimes be difficult in changing times.
Recognising this, Awaz-the Voice has launched a thought-provoking podcast program, Deen aur Duniya. This podcast seeks to address the questions, dilemmas, and misconceptions that Muslim society faces today. With the insights of scholars, Ulema and experts, It aims to explain that Deen and Duniya are not opposites, but complementary.
The first episode of this podcast explains the inspiration behind launching "Deen Aur Duniya" and the thought and preparation that went into its launch. This program took shape after several days of brainstorming. This first episode attempts to highlight the need for discourse in today's times that neither leads to fanaticism nor alienates people from faith.
The introduction to the podcast states that Deen Aur Duniya is a new and exclusive podcast from Awaz-The Voice, which features meaningful discussions on the balance between Islam and modern life.
In its first episode, historian and columnist Saqib Salim joins Awaz-The Voice's Editor-in-Chief, Atir Khan, to discuss the show's core concept and purpose. This conversation not only explains the program's background but also gives listeners a peek into the future episodes.
