Amit Shah on Tuesday said the Narcotics Control Bureau had secured the return of alleged drug trafficker Mohammad Salim Dola from Türkiye in what he described as a major breakthrough.
In a post on X, Shah said the government was pursuing a zero-tolerance policy against narco syndicates and that India’s anti-narcotics agencies had built a robust international network to act against drug cartels across borders.

“Now, no matter where they hide, no place is safe for drug kingpins,” he said.
Dola, 59, is alleged to be a close aide of Dawood Ibrahim. He was detained by the Turkish Intelligence Agency on Saturday following inputs from Indian agencies.

Officials said Dola, who was subject to an Interpol Red Notice, was brought to Indira Gandhi International Airport on Tuesday.
