President Droupadi Murmu on Monday accepted the credentials of envoys from Iran, Brunei Darussalam and the Federated States of Micronesia at a ceremony held at Rashtrapati Bhavan, the President’s office said.
The envoys who presented their credentials were Mohammad Fathali, Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran; Siti Arnyfariza Haji Mohd Jaini, High Commissioner of Brunei Darussalam; and John Fritz, Ambassador of the Federated States of Micronesia.

The presentation of credentials is a formal diplomatic procedure through which newly appointed envoys submit official documents to the head of state of the host country, formally establishing their authority to represent their respective nations.
