Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, along with members of his cabinet, offered prayers at the Bhilat Dev Temple in Nagalwadi village of Barwani district on Monday, seeking peace, prosperity and well-being for the people of the state.

The Chief Minister and ministers had arrived in Barwani to attend an agriculture-focused cabinet meeting, being held as part of the state’s Farmer Welfare Year 2026 initiative. Before the meeting, they paid obeisance at the temple, which is regarded as a revered deity of the Nimar-Malwa region.

After offering prayers, the Chief Minister and cabinet colleagues took time to admire the scenic surroundings of the temple, located amid the Satpura valleys. Yadav described the temple precincts as serene and filled with positive energy.

Speaking on the occasion, Yadav said that under the leadership of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the state government is firmly committed to the overall development of Madhya Pradesh. He added that beginning the cabinet meeting with prayers at Bhilat Dev was symbolic, and expressed confidence that the decisions taken would be in the interest of farmers and the general public.

The Chief Minister and ministers also posed for a group photograph at the temple complex.
