Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on Monday announced a major digital push in the judiciary with the launch of the “One Case One Data” initiative and an AI-powered assistance chatbot named “Su Sahay.”
Making the announcement at the start of proceedings in the Supreme Court of India, the CJI said the One Case One Data initiative aims to integrate multi-level judicial information from all High Courts of India, district courts and taluka courts into a unified digital system.
According to the CJI, the initiative is designed to create a more efficient and interconnected case management system by embedding case-related data across different levels of the judiciary.
“We are commencing the ‘One Case One Data’ initiative with multi-level information of all high courts, district and taluka court details embedded. We look forward to developing an efficient case management system,” he said.
Justice Surya Kant also announced the launch of Su Sahay, an artificial intelligence-powered chatbot integrated with the Supreme Court’s website to make court-related services more accessible to litigants and citizens.
The chatbot has been developed by the National Informatics Centre in collaboration with the Supreme Court Registry.
The CJI said the chatbot will offer a simple and convenient interface for users seeking front-end guidance and assistance in accessing essential Supreme Court services.

He also appreciated the efforts of Registry officials and members of the Bar who contributed to the digital initiatives, expressing confidence that both projects would benefit all stakeholders in the justice delivery system.
