The Israeli Defence Forces on Tuesday reported carrying out more than 50 overnight strikes targeting sites linked to the Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps. The operations focused on command centres, weapons depots, and air defence systems.
According to the IDF, the ongoing campaign—referred to as Operation Roaring Lion—has now seen over 3,000 strikes across Iran. In its latest update, the military said recent attacks also hit ballistic missile storage facilities and launch locations.
As regional tensions intensify, reports indicated blasts in Baghdad, with at least 14 fatalities following a US airstrike on a paramilitary base. Iranian sources cited by regional media claimed that energy infrastructure within the country had also come under attack. Meanwhile, Bahrain reported a fire at one of its facilities, attributing it to what it described as Iranian aggression.
In Israel, six people sustained minor injuries after a missile struck central Tel Aviv. The explosion caused damage to buildings and vehicles, and debris was also reported in nearby Rosh Ha'ayin. Authorities said the munition carried a significant explosive payload.
Elsewhere, Press TV reported that Imam Ali Hospital had been evacuated and shut down following strikes attributed to US and Israeli forces.
In Beirut and other parts of southern Lebanon, an Israeli strike reportedly hit a petrol station, triggering a large fire. Residents in the affected areas were instructed to evacuate as the situation escalated.
Amid the conflict, there are also indications of possible diplomatic movement. Reports citing Yedioth Ahronoth suggested that Iran’s Supreme Leader Mojtaba Khamenei may be open to negotiations with the United States. The discussions were reportedly linked to contacts involving Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi and US intermediary Steve Witkoff.
