Ashwini Vaishnaw on Saturday visited the BEML unit in Bengaluru and reviewed the progress of ongoing activities there.

Vaishnaw, who holds the portfolios of Railways, Electronics and Information Technology, and Information and Broadcasting, also interacted with senior officials and staff members of BEML, according to PIB Karnataka in a post on X.

During the visit, the minister inspected railway coaches being manufactured at the facility and was briefed by officials on the status of the work and production progress.
