Actor Yash and the makers of Toxic: A Fairy Tale for Grown-Ups have postponed the film’s June 4, 2026 release, with a new date to be announced later. The team said the delay is aimed at planning a broader worldwide rollout after receiving strong interest from global distributors at CinemaCon.
In a statement, Yash said the film is complete and the current focus is on finalising international distribution deals and strategic partnerships. He added that the team wants to ensure the movie reaches audiences globally in the best possible way.
This is the second postponement for the film. It was initially set for March 19 before being moved to June 4 because of the conflict in West Asia, an important overseas market for Indian films.
Directed by Geetu Mohandas, the action thriller is set in Goa between the 1940s and 1970s and stars Yash as gangster Raya. The cast also includes Nayanthara, Kiara Advani, Huma Qureshi, Rukmini Vasanth and Tara Sutaria.
