A chlling video of the Taliban fighters slapping and mocking a popular Afghan comedian Fazal Mohammad alias Khasa Zawan in Kandahar in captivity have surfaced on social media.
They are speaking in their native laguage and profusely abusing the comedian. He was earlier dragged from his house by the Taliban.
In the video Zawan is show with hands tied behind and being slapped by a gunman while others are zeering an laughing. This video is posted by Sami Yusufzai, a well known Afghan journalist working for international agencies:

Zawan is being carried in a vehicle apparently with other civilians by Taliban when they captures parts of the district.
Zawan was later executed in cold blood along with many others.
Zawan is a former police officer. The video posted on Twitter is going viral on social media with netizens including those from Pakistan condemning Taliban for their brutal ways.
Social media is full of images of his children carrying the body in a ambulance.

It may be recalled that the Indian journalist Danish Siddiqui of Reuters was also killed at point blank range in Kandahar while he was on an assignment.
