Russian drone and missile strikes on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro killed at least four people and wounded 21, local authorities said on Saturday.
Oleksandr Ganzha said the bodies of four victims were found in the ruins of a house destroyed during the overnight attack. Fires also broke out across the city, while several apartment buildings, businesses and a private home were partially damaged.
Volodymyr Zelenskyy said 11 people remained hospitalised in Dnipro following the strikes.
To the southwest, two people were injured in overnight drone attacks in the Odesa region. Regional head Oleh Kiper said residential buildings, port infrastructure and vehicles were damaged in the southern part of the region.
In Russia, a woman was killed and a man seriously injured in a drone strike in the border region of Belgorod, according to local officials.
Following the overnight attacks, Romania said drone fragments were found in a residential area of the southeastern city of Galati, near the NATO member’s border with Ukraine. No casualties were reported. Romania has previously confirmed drone debris landing on its territory several times during the war.
The latest attacks came a day after Russia and Ukraine exchanged 193 prisoners of war each.

Periodic prisoner swaps have been among the few tangible outcomes of months of US-mediated talks between Moscow and Kyiv, which have otherwise failed to resolve major issues blocking an end to Russia’s invasion, now in its fifth year.
