The Central Bureau of Investigation has arrested Shivraj Raghunath Motegaonkar in connection with the alleged NEET UG 2026 paper leak case, officials said on Monday.
Motegaonkar, who runs Renukai Chemistry Classes in Latur, was taken into custody after investigators reportedly recovered a leaked question paper for the medical entrance examination from his mobile phone during searches conducted on Sunday.
According to the CBI, Motegaonkar was allegedly an active member of an organised network involved in obtaining, distributing, and circulating the leaked examination paper.
