Rajasthan Cong to protest against NEET paper leak

The Indian National Congress in Rajasthan on Monday announced a statewide protest on May 21 against alleged irregularities in the NEET UG 2026 examination, demanding the resignation of Union Education Minister Dharmendra Pradhan.

The demonstration will be led by Rajasthan Congress president Govind Singh Dotasra, with party workers planning to gherao the Bharatiya Janata Party state headquarters in Jaipur.

State Congress general secretary Swarnim Chaturvedi said the alleged paper leak has put the future of lakhs of students at risk and exposed what the party described as serious lapses by the central government and the National Testing Agency.

Congress leaders also alleged the involvement of BJP functionaries in the controversy and claimed that similar examination leaks had taken place in previous years as well.

Apart from seeking Pradhan’s resignation, the party has also demanded the dissolution of the National Testing Agency.

According to party leaders, Congress workers will assemble at the party headquarters on the morning of May 21 and march towards the BJP office via Shaheed Smarak, where they will stage a protest demonstration.

The party has warned that the agitation will be intensified if its demands are not addressed.
