Brad Pitt is stepping back into one of his most celebrated roles, reviving stuntman Cliff Booth in the much-anticipated follow-up to Quentin Tarantino’s Once Upon a Time in Hollywood. Netflix offered fans a first glimpse with a surprise teaser for The Adventures of Cliff Booth during Super Bowl LX, though the preview is yet to be officially released online.
The new film brings Pitt, now 62, back as the laid-back yet lethal Booth, a character that earned him the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in 2020. While Tarantino handed over the director’s chair this time, the project is helmed by acclaimed filmmaker David Fincher, marking his reunion with Pitt after nearly two decades. The duo previously delivered cult classics such as Se7en, Fight Club, and The Curious Case of Benjamin Button.
Set after the events of the 2019 film, The Adventures of Cliff Booth reportedly tracks Booth’s journey as a behind-the-scenes “Hollywood fixer,” navigating the darker corners of the film industry. The original movie reimagined 1969 Los Angeles and famously offered an alternate take on real-life tragedy, cementing Booth as one of Pitt’s most iconic screen personas.

Buzz around the project began circulating in early 2025, intensifying after Pitt was spotted on set mid-year sporting a striking retro look complete with long blond hair, a moustache, and vintage attire, hinting at the film’s throwback appeal.
