Hrithik Roshan is stepping into a new chapter of his career as a producer, joining forces with his brother Eshaan Roshan for Prime Video’s upcoming projects, ‘Storm’ and ‘Mess’. The actor unveiled the first look of both projects at the Prime Video 2026 Release Slate event in Mumbai on Thursday.
Reflecting on his transition from acting to production, Hrithik admitted the journey initially felt daunting. "I became an actor out of fear—the fear of failure. Every instinct said it was impossible, but I pushed through, and that’s how HRX was born—from hopelessness to transformation," he said.
At the event, Hrithik showcased the comedy film ‘Mess’, featuring Pratik Gandhi in the lead. The film follows a group of robbers who break into the house of a man with obsessive-compulsive disorder (OCD). As the night unfolds, the robbers discover that the situation is far more unpredictable than expected and they may be the ones fighting to survive.
The original screenplay of ‘Mess’ was penned by American writer Paul Soter, with the adapted screenplay and dialogues by Kapil Sawant. The film is directed by Rajesh A Krishnan.
Alongside ‘Mess’, Hrithik unveiled the teaser for ‘Storm’, a gripping series featuring an ensemble cast including Parvathy Thiruvothu, Alaya F, Srishti Shrivastava, Rrama Sharma, Saba Azad, Suvinder Pal Vicky, Ashish Vidyarthi, Rajit Kapur, Ashok Pathak, Gautam Rode, and Priyanka Setia.
According to Prime Video, the series revolves around a sustainable housing project that spirals into a deadly scam. Five women, each with their own wounds, dreams, and secrets, are drawn into a dangerous web that could either destroy them or set them free. The series is created and directed by Ajitpal Singh and produced by Hrithik and Eshaan Roshan.
The Prime Video 2026 Release Slate event continues in Mumbai, highlighting the platform’s slate of exciting new content for the year.
