Global attention is intensifying ahead of the CyberPeace Global Summit 2.0, set to take place from February 8-10, 2026, as diplomats, technologists, and policy experts prepare to tackle emerging cyber threats and the challenges of AI safety.

According to a press release, the summit is witnessing growing international momentum, with participation in high-level diplomatic discussions, strategic capacity-building workshops, and initiatives aimed at fostering cybersecurity, AI safety, and digital trust.

As part of these efforts, CyberPeace recently hosted a workshop on “Cyber First Responder & AI Safety” in collaboration with the United Service Institution of India (USI). The session brought together around 40 students from globally renowned institutions including MIT, Harvard, and Columbia University. The workshop focused on preparing the next generation of global defenders to tackle cyber risks that cross borders and jurisdictions.

Participants engaged in expert-led discussions, hands-on security labs, live demonstrations, and simulated incident-response exercises. They explored the AI threat landscape, learned practical defence strategies for securing AI systems, and gained operational skills essential for creating safe and resilient AI environments.

These capacity-building initiatives also serve as a precursor to the India AI Impact Summit 2026, where international leaders will discuss responsible AI deployment.

Diplomatic engagement has reinforced the summit’s global significance. Recently, Ambassador-at-Large Hendrikus G.J. (Harry) Verweij of the Netherlands met Major Vineet Kumar, Founder and Global President of CyberPeace, to strengthen India-Netherlands collaboration on digital trust and emerging technologies. The Netherlands co-chairs a working group under the AI Impact Summit and plays a key role in shaping discussions on AI governance and ethical deployment.

With February approaching, the CyberPeace Global Summit 2.0 is emerging as a critical platform for building shared frameworks for cyber resilience. Policymakers, researchers, and technologists will converge to address pressing digital challenges.
