Motorola has expanded its G-series smartphone lineup with the launch of the new Moto G47 in select global markets. Positioned in the mid-range segment, the handset arrives with a high-resolution 108-megapixel rear camera, a large 5,200mAh battery, and a 120Hz display.
The smartphone is currently listed on Motorola’s official website and will be available in three Pantone-inspired colour variants — Pantone Fuchsia Red, Pantone Impenetrable, and Pantone Nautical Blue.
In Europe, the Moto G47 has been priced at EUR 319 (approximately Rs 35,000) for the single 8GB RAM and 128GB storage option.
The device runs on Android 16-based Hello UI and features a 6.67-inch HD+ LCD display with a 120Hz refresh rate and peak brightness of up to 1,050 nits. The screen is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. Motorola has also equipped the handset with IP64-rated dust and splash resistance alongside MIL-STD-810H durability certification.
Powering the smartphone is MediaTek’s Dimensity 6300 chipset built on a 6nm architecture. The processor is paired with ARM Mali-G57 MC2 graphics, 8GB LPDDR4x RAM, and 128GB internal storage. Users can further expand storage up to 1TB using a microSD card.
On the photography front, the Moto G47 carries a triple rear camera setup led by a 108-megapixel primary sensor with f/1.7 aperture. It also includes a 2-megapixel macro shooter and a light sensor module. For selfies and video calls, the phone offers an 8-megapixel front camera. The handset supports video recording at up to 2K resolution at 30fps.
The device houses a 5,200mAh battery with support for 20W TurboPower fast charging and 6W wired reverse charging.

Connectivity features on the Moto G47 include 5G, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.4, NFC, USB Type-C, and multiple satellite navigation systems including GPS, GLONASS, Galileo, BeiDou, and QZSS.
The smartphone also features a side-mounted fingerprint scanner along with sensors such as gyroscope, ambient light sensor, proximity sensor, accelerometer, and e-compass. The handset weighs 191 grams and measures 7.85mm in thickness.
