Motorola has officially signalled the arrival of the Edge 70 Max in India, with a dedicated Flipkart microsite going live ahead of its launch. The upcoming handset will expand the company's Edge 70 portfolio, joining the existing Edge 70, Edge 70 Pro, Edge 70 Fusion and Edge 70 Pro+ models.
Although Motorola has not yet announced a launch date, the microsite URL confirms that the teaser is for the Motorola Edge 70 Max. The preview also offers an early look at the smartphone's design, revealing a flat rear panel and a square-shaped camera island positioned in the upper-left corner.
Unlike the Edge 70 Pro series, the Edge 70 Max is expected to feature a triple rear camera setup accompanied by an LED flash. The renders also indicate a power button and volume rocker on the right edge, while an additional button on the left side is likely to serve as the Moto AI Key.
Motorola has also highlighted the handset's AI capabilities, claiming a 46 per cent improvement in NPU performance for AI-driven tasks. Another confirmed feature is wireless charging, a capability currently limited to the Edge 70 Pro+ within the lineup.
Recent leaks have shed further light on the smartphone's expected specifications. The Edge 70 Max is tipped to arrive in Glacier Blue, Onyx Black and Sage Green colour options.

Under the hood, the device is rumoured to be powered by Qualcomm's Snapdragon 8 Gen 5 processor, setting it apart from the MediaTek chipset used in the Edge 70 Pro+. The triple-camera system is also expected to include primary, telephoto and ultra-wide sensors.
Motorola is likely to reveal additional specifications and the official launch timeline in the coming days as it gears up to introduce the Edge 70 Max in the Indian market.
