Motorola is gearing up to launch its latest premium smartphone, the Motorola Edge 70 Pro, in India on April 22, with Flipkart confirming its availability through a dedicated microsite ahead of the official debut.
The upcoming device will succeed the Edge 70 series lineup and will be sold via the e-commerce platform post-launch. Motorola is expected to offer the phone in multiple finishes, including Pantone Tea in a satin luxe style, Pantone Titan, and Pantone Lily White with a marble-inspired design.
Under the hood, the Edge 70 Pro will be powered by a 4nm MediaTek Dimensity 8500 Extreme processor, paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5x RAM. The chipset is claimed to deliver an AnTuTu score exceeding 2.4 million, positioning the device in the high-performance segment.
The smartphone will run on Android 16-based Hello UI and is promised to receive three years of major OS upgrades along with five years of security patches. It will also integrate AI-driven features including Moto AI alongside services such as Microsoft Copilot, Google Gemini, and Perplexity.
On the imaging front, the device will feature a triple 50MP rear camera setup, led by a Sony LYT-710 primary sensor with variable focal lengths, accompanied by a 50MP ultra-wide lens. A 50MP front camera with autofocus support is also expected. The system supports 4K video recording at 60fps across all cameras and carries Pantone SkinTone validation for improved colour accuracy.
The handset will be backed by a 6,500mAh battery, claimed to offer up to two days of usage, and will support 90W TurboPower fast charging with a charger included in the box.
