Tecno has expanded its global smartphone lineup with the launch of the Camon Slim in select markets. As the name suggests, the device stands out for its ultra-thin design, measuring just 6.39mm in thickness. It is available in five colour variants, including Burgundy Red, Jungle Green, New Mondrian, Prism Black, and Van Gogh Blue.
The smartphone is powered by the MediaTek Helio G200 Ultimate chipset, paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB of internal storage. It runs HiOS 16.2 based on Android 16, and Tecno has confirmed three major Android upgrades for the device.
On the front, the Camon Slim features a 6.78-inch 1.5K AMOLED display with a 144Hz refresh rate, aimed at delivering smooth visuals and enhanced user experience. To manage performance and thermals, the phone comes equipped with a 12-layer cooling system featuring a large vapour chamber for better heat dissipation.
In the imaging department, the device sports a 50MP primary rear camera using a Sony LYT-600 sensor, supported by a flicker sensor. For selfies, there is a 32MP front camera. The camera module also integrates mini LED lighting effects that can indicate notifications, calls, and charging status, with customisation options available.
The handset packs a 5,600mAh battery with 60W fast charging support, promising long usage time along with up to five years of battery durability. Tecno also claims extended endurance with over 54 hours of talk time and more than 576 hours of standby.
