A bomb threat sent via email to the Delhi Legislative Assembly triggered a security scare on Monday, prompting an immediate response from multiple agencies.

According to police sources, Assembly authorities informed security agencies after receiving the threat message. Teams from Delhi Police, bomb disposal squads, dog squads and the fire brigade were rushed to the premises.

Officials conducted a comprehensive search operation across the Assembly complex.

A senior police officer said no suspicious object had been found so far and that the situation remained under control. Authorities have launched an investigation to trace the origin of the threatening email.
