During the 2026 Rajasthan Diwas celebrations in Jaipur, Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma inaugurated 207 new buses at the Ajmer Road Bus Terminal on Thursday.
Addressing the gathering, Sharma said the state government, led by the BJP, is committed to advancing its vision of a “Viksit Rajasthan.” He also extended his greetings to the people on Rajasthan Foundation Day and the Hindu New Year.
In a message shared on X, the chief minister highlighted that the addition of these buses would enhance connectivity between urban and rural areas, while also contributing to the overall development and modernization of the state’s transport system.
Earlier in the day, Sharma attended a state-level cultural programme at the historic Albert Hall Museum as part of the celebrations. The event featured vibrant performances by folk artists, showcasing Rajasthan’s rich cultural traditions. A short film presenting the achievements of the current state government was also screened.

Describing the occasion as memorable, Sharma said the cultural festival reflected the unity and heritage of Rajasthan, adding that such events serve as a celebration of the state’s diverse and vibrant traditions.
