Maharashtra Chief Minister Devendra Fadnavis and Shiv Sena (UBT) MP Sanjay Raut briefly interacted at a wedding ceremony on Tuesday, where the Chief Minister checked on Raut’s health.

The leaders came face-to-face at the wedding of bureaucrat Rajesh Narvekar’s son. During the exchange, Fadnavis enquired about Raut’s medical condition, as the senior Rajya Sabha MP has been receiving treatment for an illness that has not been publicly disclosed.

Raut, known as a key spokesperson for the Uddhav Thackeray-led Shiv Sena (UBT), is connected to the Narvekar family through marriage — his daughter is married to the bureaucrat’s other son.
