The Ministry of External Affairs (MEA) on Thursday said that a recent United Nations report on the 2025 blast near Delhi’s Red Fort reflects India’s concerns regarding cross-border terrorism and acknowledges inputs shared by New Delhi.

Responding to a query during the weekly media briefing, MEA spokesperson Randhir Jaiswal said India has taken note of the 37th report of the UN Analytical and Support Sanctions Monitoring Team, which was published on February 4, 2026.

“The report is available in the public domain. We have seen that it has taken on board India’s inputs with regard to our concerns on cross-border terrorism and strengthening the global fight against terrorism,” Jaiswal said.

The UN monitoring team report, in its section on regional developments in Asia, referred to information provided by India stating that Jaish-e-Mohammed (JeM) had claimed responsibility for a series of attacks. It also noted that the Pakistan-based group was reportedly linked to the November 9, 2025 blast near the Red Fort in New Delhi, which resulted in 15 fatalities.

The report further mentioned that JeM chief Masood Azhar announced the formation of a women-only wing, Jamaat ul-Muminat, on October 8, aimed at supporting terrorist activities. The group is not currently listed under UN sanctions.

Additionally, the monitoring team recorded reports that three individuals allegedly connected to the April 22, 2025 terror attack in Pahalgam, Jammu and Kashmir, were killed on July 28.

The MEA’s remarks come amid continued international attention on cross-border terrorism and the activities of UN-designated terrorist organisations operating in the region.

Earlier, on January 28, India and Saudi Arabia, during the third meeting of the India–Saudi Arabia Security Working Group held in Riyadh, strongly condemned terrorism in all its forms and manifestations.

According to an MEA statement, the meeting was co-chaired by Vinod Bahade, Joint Secretary (Counter Terrorism) in the MEA, and Ahmed Al-Eissa, Director General of Legal Affairs and International Cooperation at Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Interior.
