Rajasthan Chief Minister Bhajanlal Sharma on Tuesday urged people to make yoga a part of their daily lives and contribute to building a "Viksit Bharat-Viksit Rajasthan".

Addressing the concluding ceremony of the 51st Sub-Junior and Junior National Yogasana Sports Championship here, Sharma described yoga as a valuable legacy of India's ancient culture and urged people to shun addiction and adopt yoga.

He said yoga, meditation and pranayama have become part of the daily routines of millions of people worldwide and the tradition is emerging as a means of promoting human well-being globally.

The chief minister said the youth are the country's future and announced that the state government is developing Atal Gyan Kendras in villages with facilities such as online classes and e-libraries. Sports grounds are also being developed in every panchayat, he said.

Referring to paper leaks, Sharma claimed that no such incident has occurred during his government's tenure and assured youths that their aspirations would not be allowed to be derailed.

He said the state has introduced the Rajasthan Youth Policy-2025 and the 'Rajasthan TOPS' scheme to strengthen sports infrastructure and prepare athletes for the Olympics.
