On behalf of UAE President Sheikh Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Sheikh Khaled bin Mohamed bin Zayed Al Nahyan, Crown Prince of Abu Dhabi, will lead the UAE delegation to the India AI Impact Summit, scheduled to be held in New Delhi from February 16 to 20, 2026, according to Emirates News Agency WAM.
The summit will bring together global leaders, policymakers, innovators and experts to deliberate on the future trajectory of artificial intelligence (AI). At the invitation of Prime Minister Narendra Modi, leaders from 20 countries are expected to attend.
Countries represented at the leadership level include Bhutan, Bolivia, Brazil, Croatia, Estonia, Finland, France, Greece, Guyana, Kazakhstan, Liechtenstein, Mauritius, Serbia, Slovakia, Spain, Sri Lanka, Seychelles, Switzerland, the Netherlands and the UAE. In addition, ministerial delegations from more than 45 countries will participate, along with the United Nations Secretary-General and senior officials from several international organisations.
India will host the India AI Impact Summit at Bharat Mandapam, bringing together governments, industry leaders, researchers, startups, students and citizens from across the world.
The summit aims to serve as a global platform to shape a future-oriented agenda for inclusive, responsible and impactful AI. Moving beyond high-level dialogue, it seeks to deliver tangible outcomes that promote economic growth, social development and sustainable use of AI technologies.
Structured around three core pillars — People, Planet and Progress — the event will feature focused discussions on employment and skilling, sustainable and energy-efficient AI, and wider economic and social advancement.
Seven thematic working groups, co-chaired by representatives from the Global North and the Global South, will present concrete deliverables, including proposals for AI Commons, trusted AI tools, shared compute infrastructure and sector-specific compendiums of AI use cases.
Participants will also explore AI’s impact on professions and industries, emerging skill requirements, startup engagement with investors and partners, and the role of AI in supporting farmers, small businesses and service providers.
Sessions will cover AI safety, governance, ethical use, data protection and India’s approach to sovereign AI, including the development of indigenous foundation models for strategic sectors.
A key attraction will be the AI Impact Expo, showcasing real-world AI applications in healthcare, agriculture, education, climate action, energy efficiency and accessibility, highlighting how AI can address practical challenges and improve service delivery.

The summit will also highlight national skilling initiatives such as “Yuva AI for All”, a free and accessible programme aimed at building basic AI awareness among students and professionals.
