World Boxing champion Nikhat Zareen complimented her father for being the man behind her success. She said this while appearing in the Amitabh Bachchan-hosted reality show Kaun Banega Crorepati, to be telecast on Monday, September 5.

Along with Nikhat, Chanu Saikhom Mirabai, Commonwealth games gold medalist in weightlifting also appeared on the show, and both shared interesting anecdotes from their journeys.

In a recently released promotional video of the reality show, boxer Nikhat Zareen said it was her father who was is the real owner of her gold medal. "I would only fight in the rink while he fought many battles outside with the world for me," she said and put the gold medal in her father's neck.

Nikhat is also seen explaining to Amitabh Bachchan and the audience how she once received a black eye and bled from the nose after her fighting bout with a male competitor. Her mother told her, "Darling if anything happens to you, who will marry you."

Amitabh says in amazement, "Oh". Then Nikhat says, "I replied, 'Hey Ammi, why are you tense, if I can establish myself, there will be a queue of grooms waiting out for me there.”

Amitabh enjoys a hearty laugh at this.

Soni TV shared the promo with the caption, "This Monday, @zareennikhat ji will share an anecdote from her academy that made her mom worried about her.

In another advertisement, Mirabai is shown requesting Amitabh to repeat his famous dialogue from the 1990 film Agneepath. The Big B obliges her throwing the audience into a resounding applause.

Significantly, Amitabh returned to work on Thursday after recovering from Kovid-19. After testing positive for Coronavirus for the second time, the Big B remained in home isolation for nine days.
